Don DeMaria
Director of the Washington Semester Program

Don was appointed as the inaugural program director in July 2007 and is responsible for all aspects of the program.  He has been at UGA since 1999 and prior to this position, served as the Assistant Director of the Honors Program.  He moderates the blog and contributes occasionally.

Matt Greco
Spring 2008 Washington Semester Program Intern

Matt is a member of the inaugural class of the Washington Semester Program.  He is a double major in economics and Spanish from Woodstock, GA.  He interns for the Center for Global Development.

Jamarri Ivy
2007 Honors in Washington Intern

Jamarri Ivy was born in Landstuhl, Germany and lives in Savannah, Georgia with his family. He’s a political science major, graduating in May 2008. He’s currently applying to law schools. His boyish good looks and charm are surpassed in degree only by his intelligence and passion for life.

Jason Rottner
2006 Honors in Washington Intern

Jason Rottner graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 and participated in the Honors in Washington Internship program during the summer of 2006 when he worked for Congressman Tom Price.  While at the university, Jason was the president and head coach of the club baseball team.  He was also an Honors Ambassador.  Jason is currently a first year law student at the University of Virginia.
